Turning positives into positives
Byaqs |News |05 May 2021There has been much negativity over the past 12 months or so as the entire world has adapted to a new way of living, working and communicating; one that, thanks to the amazing research and medical teams, shouldn’t be with us for too much longer. The snow has gone, the days are getting longer and Spring brings an air of positivity with it.
‘Spring will come and so will happiness. Hold on. Life will get warmer’ Anita Krizzan
The team at Yeomans have remained positive of spirit throughout the pandemic and have worked extremely hard to ensure we maintain the same level of service to you and those you support during these troubling times.
Three of the team have taken their positivity further:
Managing Director, Phil Broad, contracted Coronavirus fairly early on and thankfully wasn’t particularly unwell – this does however mean he has produced antibodies to the virus. After a quick home test in January he has gone on to donate blood plasma containing these important antibodies for further research.
Relationship Manager, James Wilmshurst, was invited to speak at an ADHD forum regarding how lockdown has been affecting the mental health of the nation. He found the process cathartic and was empowered to be able to speak about mental health issues further. Now he says that he is taking comfort from his local surroundings, discovering footpaths and bridleways that he didn’t know were there – and has learned to appreciate nature more whether during his many walks or his photography outings.
Special Projects Manager, Andy Quickenden-Smith, has taken part in the ONS study on the virus, having tests weekly and has so far remained negative throughout – but wanting to do more he is now a volunteer vaccinator in his spare time in the Midlands where he lives.
As we now plan to slowly transcend out of lockdown 3, back to a more normal routine, the Yeomans team are here as much as ever to support you.
Whatever your marketing and fundraising needs are, we’ll be positively pleased to help!
